Principal Responsibilities:
This job is responsible to perform all QA Penetrant Inspections for all company products as required by specifications called out in customer requirements.
Duties:
High School Graduate and some Tech Training plus PER ASNT SNT-TC-1A and MIL-STD-410
5 to 8 years experience as Penetrant Inspector
Must be qualified per ASNT recommended. Practice SNT-TC-1A, Supplement "D" and appendices and MIL-STD-410
Sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication and product technology to establish techniques and procedures for penetrant inspection
Communicate through oral or written communication in English. Able to read in English blueprints, work orders, etc
Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently is required to stand; sit, walk, and use hands or finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties to this job, employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The pay scale for this position ranges from $20.14 to $37.50 hourly.
