Title Sr. PACS Imaging IT Analyst

Location: Stamford, CT Hybrid

Salary: $125,000 – $150,000

You'll be hands-on with systems like PACS, PowerScribe, Varian, and other imaging applications, and will serve as a go-to resource for everything from troubleshooting and workflow improvements to vendor coordination and application integration.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting day-to-day operations for Imaging teams across Radiology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Breast Imaging, and more—both inpatient and outpatient.
• Managing and maintaining PACS and related applications (including QA, archiving, troubleshooting, and user support/training).
• Working directly with Radiologists and clinical staff to understand needs, solve problems, and improve the user experience.
• Helping integrate imaging systems with our EMR and third-party platforms.
• Ensuring all imaging equipment is configured correctly to send data to PACS.
• Keeping documentation up to date—dataflow diagrams, integrations, configurations, etc.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to performance improvement initiatives.
• Supporting workstation installs, maintenance, and calibration.
• Handling DICOM data restitution, device configurations, and related workflows.
• Staying on top of cybersecurity and privacy standards to protect patient data.
• Managing project timelines, documentation, and communication across teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with PACS and imaging technology support, ideally experience using Phiilips and Varian PACS.
• Experience with PowerScribe or similar radiology reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations and imaging workflows.
• Someone who’s confident working directly with both technical teams and clinical staff.
• Familiarity with DICOM configuration, system integrations, and vendor relationships.
• Solid skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A clear communicator, proactive problem-solver, and calm under pressure.
