Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Office Clerk to support office services operations at the Blank Rome headquarters in Philadelphia. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient mailroom, shipping/receiving, and document handling functions. While initially a temporary role to cover a leave of absence, there is a strong potential for permanent conversion based on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily shipping and receiving operations
• Perform mail distribution across departments and offices
• Operate scanning, copying, and printing equipment to support internal requests
• Provide customer service to staff and visitors in a professional and polished manner
• Assist with other office support functions as needed
• Collaborate with team members in a cross-trained environment to ensure smooth office operations

Required Qualifications

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: shipping/receiving, mailroom, or print/scan services
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with legal and administrative professionals
• Comfortable working in a structured office environment
• Ability to commute to central Philadelphia (public transportation is commonly used; parking not provided)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs for handling packages and office supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an office services, administrative support, or facilities role
• Familiarity with standard office equipment (scanners, copiers, postage machines, etc.)
