Program details:
Critical Care Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants: one onsite 7 am -3 pm M- F working alongside one physician.
ICU experience is required, procedural experience is not necessary. The role primarily involves managing step-down patients in the ICU. The team includes IM, surgery, and EM residents.
EMR is epic
18-bed ICU/stepdown with the ability to flex up the 6 to 8-bed stepdown across the hall if beds are needed
Daily rounds
APPs respond to rapid responses and codes
