The Role

Under the direction of the  Working Shop Supervisor , the Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing weldments for painting.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items

• Prepares weldments for painting.
• Spray-paints
• Moves material and purchased items manually or with the aid of the overhead floor operated crane, from storage area to assembly areas.
• Assists machine operators, fitters, and welders when necessary.
• Operates forklift if required to move material.
• Maintains or assists in maintaining various areas in a clean and orderly manner.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
