Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter - RNs & Travel Nurses Position Type: Direct Placement Work Type: Remote or, if local, comfortable with hybrid Location: Portsmouth, NH Job Summary: Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team, responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing Registered Nurses (RNs) and travelers in contract roles across various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and have a proven track record of delivering top talent in tight timelines. Key Responsibilities: Source, engage, and recruit qualified RNs and travel nurses for contract assignments across the U.S. The Healthcare Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, credentialing coordination, and offer negotiations. Build and maintain a pipeline of pre-screened candidates to meet client demand quickly. Collaborate with account managers and compliance teams to ensure timely placement and onboarding. The Healthcare Recruiter will maintain accurate documentation in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure compliance with healthcare staffing regulations. Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals through regular communication and follow-up. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting, with a focus on travel nurses and/or RNs. Strong understanding of healthcare staffing industry standards and credentialing requirements. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with ATS and recruitment tools. High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a staffing agency or MSP environment. Familiarity with licensing requirements across multiple states. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare staffing is preferred.
