About the Job This is a short-term and/or temporary online General Business teaching position at the University of Minnesota - Crookston Campus's Business Department for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position is based on enrollment, and there is a possibility that the course or position may not be offered during the semester or academic year depending on enrollment needs.
Job Duties Develop and teach courses
Advise students on academic concerns and involvement in school-related organizations
Provide service-related teaching duties
Participate in policy, course, and program decisions
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field
Additional responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction, assisting in developing department goals, advising students, supporting research and community outreach, and maintaining strong professional ties. Regular office hours are required.
Qualifications Master's Degree, preferably in the teaching discipline
Or, Master's Degree in another field plus 18 graduate credits in the teaching discipline
Terminal degree in the discipline or related area is preferred
Relevant professional and/or teaching experience
Willingness to demonstrate cultural competencies and work with diverse student populations
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Eligibility to work in the United States
Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $1300-$1500 per credit, depending on experience, course, and enrollment. Retirement plan options are available for eligible classifications.
