Position Overview
Exciting opportunity in the Environmental field with growth potential. Position will be general duties associated with the effective operation of our Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) unit. Responsibilities will be various tasks to the betterment of this division and will include but not limited to those activities shown below, and clerical duties as apply.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements
· Able to execute and assist in the assembly of Electrical and Pneumatic panels for CEM systems.
· General CEMS Shop Operational Effectiveness
o Responsible for execution of general Maintenance duties
o Responsible for effective shipping and receiving system
o Responsible for Shop Organization and cleanliness (end at least every week clean)
o Reliable attendance to be resource on hand to support field operations and customer support
· Safe driving record at hire and ongoing through employment
· Clean record for Drugs/Alcohol. Able and willing to pass spot checks for such.
· Executes all safety standards both job specific and Air Techniques standard as described in our safety manual
· Ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, and work at elevated heights
· Clerical work including spreadsheets, assisting with orders and Invoicing
Other Job Functions and Requirements
· Maintains proper Data File Repositories
o Operates inventory control for reliable knowledge of on hand resources.
o Supports reporting on major in/out of the shop and end of period inventories
o Notifies customers with shipping notifications (and records in our repository)
o Maintains “on bench” recordkeeping for repairs for invoicing and historical tracking
o Communicates with field personnel for Reporting related Documents
· Shop Duties
o Preventative Maintenance duties for facilities
o Assisting with wiring high and low voltage, and general pneumatic plumbing
o Able to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
o Able to understand complication of interdependent systems
o General electronic, and analyzer repair
o Create digital file for work and historical reference
o Support IT systems for maximum uptime
o Availability to travel to appropriate facilities
o Support fleet vehicle maintenance.
· Documentation and Reports
o Produces regular reports for areas of responsibility
o Acquires necessary data for reporting from customers, vendors, and/or coworkers
o Files documentation in an orderly fashion with all acquired data
o Manually proofs data for errors, omissions and/or validation.
o Acquires necessary CGA, Linearity, Certification reports to include.
· Instrument repair
o Able to partner with advanced support or technicians to execute troubleshooting and repair tasks
o Utilizes resources to solve support concerns with a sense of ownership
o Produces appropriate documentation
· Other Tasks as required
