This leadership role is responsible for oversight of managed care contracting and negotiations, including hospital and physician managed care contract reimbursement rates, structure, language, and terms aligned with organizational goals. The leader will advise and present contracting strategies to senior management based on market strength, trends, rates, and clinical integration efforts. Responsibilities also include overseeing the creation, maintenance, and operational enforcement of managed care contracts, including interdepartmental coordination and payer negotiations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or relevant field; Master's degree and/or CPA preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of managed care contracting experience in a similar-sized healthcare system or large payor, with at least two (2) years in management. Preferred Qualifications Ability to build effective relationships with payors and internal/external stakeholders. Leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on high performance and quality service. Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, contracting practices, and contract analysis. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, including proficiency in PC-based software and report development. Negotiation skills and strategic planning capabilities.
