Job Description

About the role:

The Creative Director delivers essential creative vision and direction for an array of experiential projects, including trade show exhibits, live events, conferences, mobile tours, permanent installations, and hybrid experiences. They serve as the link between strategy and design, effectively bringing brand stories to life. Their innovative and informed efforts directly contribute to improved business conversion and client retention. This is a hands-on role for someone who can equally manage projects, act as a sounding board, and collaborate across teams, particularly account, design, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept, develop, and present impactful proposals and solutions that masterfully blend strategic insights, emerging trends, and brand requirements.
  • Author clear and compelling creative briefs to communicate vision to both internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with designers to guide a strategy-led creative vision mapped to deliver on client objectives.
  • Ideate on overarching storytelling as well as tactical elements to create engaging attendee journeys, innovative activations, and social-first initiatives.
  • Work with account and operations teams on pre- and post-production processes ensuring creative delivery aligns with client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years on a creative team for a brand or in an agency environment, with specific experience working in events and conferences.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a focus on creative fields.
  • Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, Social Platforms, with the ability to translate briefs into a visual format.
  • Preference to familiarity with AI tools and applications.

Additional Information:

  • Location preference: Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Francisco, CA; Long Beach, CA; Paramus, New Jersey.
  • Salary range: $140,000 - 165,000. Range depends on experience and location
  • Some travel is required.
