About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to spearhead its revenue growth in the energy sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive revenue growth strategy across various market segments, including utility companies, commercial and industrial buildings, data centers, and defense sectors. This pivotal role involves driving sales, business development, and go-to-market strategies, as well as expanding market share, optimizing revenue streams, and building high-impact partnerships. The CRO will also be responsible for aligning sales, marketing, and customer success functions, and must be a proven leader with deep industry expertise, a track record of scaling revenue, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and energy market landscapes. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have 10-15 years' experience in battery manufacturing, energy storage, renewables, or grid infrastructure, with a strong background in energy markets, utility procurement, and related models. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of scaling revenue, particularly in the range of $10 to 100M+, and experience in contract negotiations, pricing models, and revenue forecasting. Familiarity with energy regulations, incentives, and policy frameworks is essential, and experience in working with government agencies on energy security and infrastructure projects is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing high-value partnerships and will be expected to represent the company in various industry and regulatory forums.
