About the Role
The Company is seeking two Co-opted Trustees to join its Board. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the organization's financial sustainability and dynamic impact within the international higher education sector. This includes establishing a clear vision, mission, and strategy, as well as upholding the organization's values and charitable objectives. The Co-opted Trustees will be responsible for governance, financial oversight, and risk management, and must be committed to the principles of charity governance, with the ability to think strategically, exercise good judgment, and work effectively as part of a team. Essential skills for the role include an understanding of the further education sector or experience with students' unions and associations, particularly in the context of international education. Applicants for the Co-opted Trustee roles at the company should have a strong commitment to the organization's values, charitable aims, and the promotion of diversity. The role requires a significant time and effort commitment, including attendance at regular meetings and the ability to contribute to the organization's mission.
