Smokey Bones is a full-service restaurant delivering great barbecue, award-winning ribs, and good times. Smokey Bones serves lunch and dinner and has a full bar featuring a variety of bourbons and whiskeys; a selection of domestic, import, and local craft beers; and signature, handcrafted cocktails. We offer a variety of meats that are slow-smoked, fire-grilled, and available for dine-in, pick-up, online ordering, or catering and delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

Coach your team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring every guest feels valued and leaves satisfied.

Model positive guest interactions and problem-solving skills, setting the standard for your team.

Motivate your team to anticipate guest needs and create memorable dining experiences.

Proactively engage with guests, solicit feedback, and resolve escalated concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Operations Leadership:

Develop your team's excellence through coaching and training on operational standards, menu knowledge, and service protocols.

Model our culture and values, setting the tone for a positive and supportive work environment.

Inspire your team's performance, providing constructive feedback and celebrating successes.

Create team schedules and ensure all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Financial Performance:

Coach your team to understand the impact of their actions on sales and inventory.

Model financial responsibility through effective inventory management and cost control practices.

Motivate your team to contribute to sales targets and achieve financial goals.

Review sales and trends, help initiate sales growth programs and learn profit vs. loss statements.

Conducts a wide variety of administrative duties in support of restaurant operations as it pertains to teammates and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements

The RIGHT person needs the following experience and qualities:

Previous Bar Manager/Service Management Experience (Experience must be in a full service restaurant with full bar)

Computer knowledge (Excel, Windows, POS, etc.)

Results driven, trustworthy and team oriented

Ability to engage and develop team members and coach in adherence to our company policies

Must be passionate about the hospitality industry and focused on creating amazing guest and employee experiences

Must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift 50 lbs.
