Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated  AMS or AMI Montessori Lead Teacher to guide children in our  Primary (3-6 years) environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, excellent classroom management skills, and a nurturing approach to early childhood education.

Duties

• Lead a Montessori classroom in accordance with AMS or AMI principles and philosophy.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Observe and assess children?s development to provide individualized guidance and support.
• Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning in young children.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, offering guidance and support.
• Collaborate with assistants, staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Uphold the school?s mission and values, creating a warm and inclusive community.

Requirements

• AMS or AMI Montessori Certification (Primary 3-6)  REQUIRED
• Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5in a Montessori setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Working Conditions:
- This position may require standing, bending, lifting, and other physical activities associated with caring for infants.
- Required to work full-time from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
